no it is not. though they have apparently experimented with VR in development, and its possible it will be added later.

there is no chance of it being added for PSVR though, the ps4 is nowhere near powerful enough to run KCD in VR, it only runs it at 30 FPS to begin with.

so if you want it in VR one day, you should stick to the PC version, which you should do anyway, especially with mod support coming.

I don't know about PSVR (Skyrim is playable on it so who knows). That question aside, the game is designed to be compatable with VR. The Devs have confirmed this but also said that it is not ready to implement VR at launch because there are some issues with sickness, especially when riding horses and that needs to be sorted out before they offer VR support

this is never going to release for psvr. The ps4 pro is just not powerful enough to display this game in its full beauty with 90 hz. maybe on the next iteration. And even if they release a vr version for pc you are going to need a seriously powerful one

This game is built using unreal 4 engine. It should be super easy to add vr support since it's baked into the unreal engine. Litteraly you just add in the VR camera point of view, mark the hands and add in features like grab and hold into the fields. There are tons of tutorial online, it takes like 10 minutes to make a VR control scheme. Its actually kinda wierd it wasn't available at launch.
I guess it does add a bit of work to make objects that are interactable, but it really isn't much more effort. I think a lot of devs are just scared to work with the new tools.

As of right now you can play kcd in VR you just need a few extra software, and set it up well to be able to enjoy it. A few people are doing it and it seem to work fine

It's Crytek not unreal 4.
