No I am a seven year old girl with more linguistic and rational thinking than all the "grown ups" like you.....
My mate has been playing over 2 days already, he got the physical version in the mail for his PS4 on saturday! ..jealous.. :(
Why ? you will get to play the game as well on a much better premis. Unless people actually look hard for it, they wont get "spoiled" and if you know just a bit of history, then you already know the story atleast in the bigger scale.
But the modding ability of the PC version makes it worth atleast checking out.
Which 4k 60 fps are you talking about, people? Can you read? The guy has a non-gaming GPU and a trash tier CPU.
Go with a console version, OP. These people didn't even read your specs before just automatically shouting "PC" as always.
This is flat out misinformation. The Xbox One X is roughly equivalent to a 1060 6 GB, the PS4 Pro is roughly equivalent to a 1050 TI. Comparing real world performance, not specs because they are a completely different architecture. The 1050 TI is perfectly fine for 1080p gaming. On to the actual advice part.
This game is built with CryEngine, which historically is very hit or miss on consoles. Look at the state Prey was in when it launched, and that was one of the better examples of a cryengine game on console. Lichdom Battlemage is arguably the worst port of the generation (at least it was at launch). CryEngine works fantastically on PC so the PC version is a safer bet. That said, just wait for reviews if you are unsure. Don't get a version you might regret just because you want to play the game a few hours earlier.
It will perform better than a base ps4.
