Apparently some NPCs will not be killable to prevent breaking the game....so enthusiastic murderers like us will be in for a disappoint.
In addition, if KCD treats children the same as how Beth does in FO games., that is to say invincible, the best we can do is to transform the village into a village of orphans...
There are no kids in the game afaik and that is because they want everybody to be killiable (besides essentials) The arguement kids is that "its not allowed" but that is simply not true, plenty of modern games features kids that can be killed and its often games set in earlier age, where kids were not really kids as they are today.. (we are not taking infants, toodlers etc, but teens)
A good modern example on killing teens is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YcitkhG8g_Y Expedition Vikings, you can kill some "rats" thieving teens. Its not illigal nor frown upon if its done right.
I think leaving out kids pose a problem in terms of realism, I rather you make consequences from killing "teens" kids without reason and actually allow you to make problematic decisions.. In the above video I was personally torn about killing them or making them go to my abandoned farm, so they could work and live... But well once a theif always a theif was my "ingame" moral at that point.
Yes. And make sure you do that everytime.. in games, before you go near public places, or schools and such in real life.
