haha thank you :)
This is great, I had a feeling it would work like this but no one on the streams and videos I watched mentioned this. They just said somthing along the lines of if you don't do quest's the NPC's would just do it for you kinda thing.
though I'll admit it would have been both cool and annoying if you come back after a long trek and your game is completed by the AI XD
Ah, yay, I was wondering about this.
I like that there's a dev to answer (most important) and I like this answer (less important), makes me more comfy-feeling for play.
Achievement get! "Master of idling" - finished game doing... nothing.
This remembered me Far Cry 4 and the fastest ending of that game after just doing nothing by ~10 minutes :D
seems like what you suggested, if you leave a man bleeding out and your quest is to heal him up. (at this point you have activated the quest) and you run away for a few days, this guy will be dead meaning no quest for you :(
or if your told to meet someone to do a raid but you dont show up,Theyll end up doing it without you after a while.
basically what would happen in real life, no ones gonna wait forever. Unless its story specific
I tend to get into exploring things way too much. It looks like the world the devs have created is really wonderful and I am looking forward to really taking my time taking in all the details.
I think that in your example you will maybe not fail the quest but the quest will change. Some one else might request you to investigate what happend and the quest will have a different outcome. However if you are hell belnt on getting a spesific outcome of your quest then you better reload a save.
lol just make sure you only activate one quest at a time, that way you dont miss out on all kinds of stuff. If your exploring the map dont take any quests until your ready.
This way you wont need a timer :)
from the streams Ive seen there are quests that require you to scan your environment and talk to the locals to solve a mystery, or to find where the enemy has run off too.
The complexity seems to be tied to what outcome you choose to take.
sorry if thats a little vague just dont want to spoil anything for ya :)
1) yes theres a right a wrong choice, but think of it more like theres multiple outcomes both good and bad. so if you do choose this wrong choice you could end up burning a village, if you do it right the village will be fine. however the other choices you made may have other smaller consiquences.
2) no everything is a scripted properly, as you will descover things, and then be able to question people about it. also the enviroment really does tell the story on its own.
3) yes you find a solution thinking hard, you may even find a better solution if you think really hard.
4) haha not sure about this one, it seems mire about you actions with interacting with things that gets judged
also just remember this is just based on the streams, and what I seen in them. Could be different once i play myself
