Can't decide to get for PC or PS4 Pro.

convince me! PS4 Pro is 30 FPS 1080p. can be on couch with wife all comfortable. PC will be 60 FPS, but stuck in office on this god forsaken computer chair!. I seriously can not decide!

If I couldn't afford my PC, I would quit gaming all at once.

It won't even be 30 fps on PS4. I am 99% sure... It's never a case for any new game. All new games run at 20-30 fps and it's painful to play in such conditions.

I'd say go for PC, or forget about gaming. That might sound harsh, but hey... You wanted opinions. : )

on PC it will stay with you forever when you choose to play it, for the PS4 Pro it's only a matter of time until it will be replaced by another...

i also have a PS4 but for exclusives only.

I had a PS3 for exclusives and PS3-360 titles only, but I decided to give it up and pretend as if exclusives were never a thing. Can't stand the lack of game options, inability to configure controls, terrible (and untweakable) framerate. On top of that you are limited to gamepads. Sure, Red Dead Redemption was awesome, but I wish I never played it in a state it was present on consoles...

Sort of agree, but I understand not everyone would agree with my approach of falling back from PC to Android tablet. Console, bah; unless you mean the kind with bash or zsh, then ok.

My wondering is more towards whether I should get a 2nd 1080ti and SLI bridge to help the 4K a bit. Few extra FPS in camp. Nvidia will sell me the card at non-bitminer prices, albeit not cheap which is relative anyway. First CryEngine game in a while that's supposedly coming with SLI support, from rumors I heard. Somewhere. Online. In a vid. From a guy filming in his mom's closet (supposedly).

I bet people are so glad Steam forums are full of such valuable content and help. And also surprised it leans slightly towards PC.

PC is tricky with new releases. Look at Arkham Knight for example. I suggest you wait a day or two, or buy it for PS4 just to be safe.

yeah, i realized that especially after i played the PC version of GTA V.
games are so much better played on PC.
i barely touched the console since then. :\

If you have to ask then a PS4 might be easier. No worries about upgrading the hardware or buying the wrong one. But I prefer the PC.

On sale the steam link will only cost $5usd

Asking on a PC gaming forum will of course get you some bias, but go with whatever you will play the most.

Man I have a top of the line PC with 2k 144hz gsync monitor......get it for PS4. This whole performance hunt will make you enjoy games less. You have a wife and she will be with you while playing a game which sounds way more fun than sitting in a damn chair gazing at 60 fps instead of just enjoying the game's story and atmosphere. This new generation is poison dude with its fps and resolution bs, games 10 years ago were by far superior and no one cared about eye candy and bs resolutions.

Real performance in graphics is outside the 4 walls, inside them you just play a video game to relax at the end of the day.

It's strange to see such a comment from a person who owns g-sync monitor.

There is a point in life when you dont care about gsync anymore when you barely find time and a good game to enjoy it on, not to mention staying in a chair at a desk. If I play 5 games per year, I prefer to do it relaxed in a couch without worrying about throwing big cash away on upgrades. Not to mention Sony has so many good games to enjoy with friends around too.

I only provided my point of view to the OP since he asked a question, at the end of the day he will make the decision based on his needs.
