Savior Schnaps / Unlimited saving
I have heard rumors that the saving system will change so you can save whenever you want.
Hopefully there will be implimentent (if thats true) an option to stay at the old saving system by using Savior Schnaps as it makes to rethink about your actions and plan wisly what to do next (like in real life ;-) ) It gives much more depth to the game than saving before every risky action you will do. And dont forget the Drinking perks ( whithout the need of saviorschnaps it would be senseless to drink ? ) gg
I understand that there are different opinions but please Warhorse let people choose for themselves which saving system they want to use if such plans will come with future patches.

I personally love the actual saving system ( there are already so much ways to save the game ... sleeping, bathhouse, starting a new quest, Saviorschnaps and a quit and save option)

I don't think they will add it. Daniel Vávra said there would not be any changes like this anymore.

The old save system didn't make me regret anything but playing for 2 hours without saving.

you could just add the mod from nexus
They're like 100 silvers with a bad haggle. Are you refraining from looting corpses or what is happening?

the mod makes it so you dont need the schnaps anymore? I hate having to use those to save.

If you keep making schnapps yourself, you will eventually unlock auto brewing. But if you keep making them yourself still, you will eventually unlock auto brewing 2.0 so for every auto brew, you get 3 schnapps. Cant remember if there's a version 3.0 :p

Honestly, it's a great way of making the game harder in the beginning. Later in the game, you'll be so rich that you can buy all the schnapps you need, plus you also find them quite frequently. Or just save and quit before a major event.

Thats so annoying to have to close the entire game to save it

Sure, but then spend some time making schnapps. As with the rest of the game, it's hard at first and takes time, but you will get rewarded later.

Every game I play I save scum to see what happens when I do this and that. I cant do that in this game, so I already gave up on playing it. I played it for like 10 minutes.

You did this and that in 10 minutes? In the starting area. gg.

i've used the Ultimate "Unlimited Saving" mod from nexus since Day 3 - two days of limited saves really took the fun out of the game for me. I like to explore and try different options - and i hated to get killed in an ambush (that i wanted to try), and then having to replay 30 minutes of the game.

Yes, the limited save option is great for non-(or limited)-risk takers - but once you learn how to craft the Schnapps - or start cheesing by making the Schnapps before Henry can actually read - then you are effectively doing Unlimited Saves anyway.
