"And my word is not good enough for you?"
Obviously Hans is a great bro, the way he isn't in any way the entitled (though he literally is entitled) brat you would think someone in his position would be doomed to become. No idea why he is being berated for mingling with the common folks all the time, that's why we love him. He even let's Henry camp out in his own bedroom. 10/10, would gladly take an arrow in the buttock for.
Hanush is great an all, but I think that maybe he (or his actor) comes accross as trying a bit too hard, you know what I mean? The scene after Probislavitz, when Feyfar brings the trunk and bad news, and Hanush looses it for a bit, I mean I feel him and he has the right to throw curses in his own castle as much as he likes, but really my heart goes out to Radzig, sitting there suffering silently into his palm XD
Radzig is so relatable!
I would have called him my favourite character, if I didn't have the suspicion that it could be because of bias. I don't mean that I'm biased because of what the late game reveals, the main reason I like him could be void because he may be biased. Throughout the story, he is always so supportive and considerate towards Henry despite him only being some commoner who happens to be of some use, just that now I think this might have only been the case because, you know.
He's still the one I am most happy to see in the game whenever the chance. Especially from the moment he pulls the little stunt during the attack on Talmberg and when he is seen again later. "Hello, friends! We are being treated like kings." Why yes, I would like to hear ALL about that, please.
Oh well, I think I must go off to fanfiction land for that.
So in conclusion, my all time favourite character in the whole game is ... Herman the executioner :D :D
Honorable mentions:
Theresa - "Hey, goatf**kers!"
Captain Robard - "Young Henry here is overwhelmed by your generosity."
Nightingale - ...and if I ever catch you again drinling on your watch, I'll rip you a new one! ... Well then, come on lad, let's have a drink and sit in this tavern until evening.
Master engraver Jerome - "Quite a large workshop you have here, master".. *rolls eyes*"I'm ususally here with my apprentice, of course, by simple observation you'll notice this isn't currently the case and I'm here alone." Yes master Jerome, I am dumb, thank you for noticing.
Brother Nicodimus - *sighs* "The problem lies between the mouth and the arsehole."
Everytime when I thought I had found my absolute favourite, along comes someone new, or some of the characters does or say something that makes my love burn and I think, that this just was the best interaction ever. Seems like not only am I very easy to entertain, but also my affection for fictuous persons is as intense as it is fleeting.
no explanation is needed
Also why does a master swordsmith trying to teach his son his skills refuse to teach his son how to use a sword? That is illogical. Isn't Henry being trained how to forge a sword? Back in those days blacksmiths had to be the engineers as well in sword design and manufacturing. Knowing how to use a sword is quite a good skill if you are planing to make them and making swords made you wealthy, I guess Henrys father wants his son to be wealthy as well and not poor. This is the videogame reviewer issue. Maybe a videogame reviewer need to have the basic skills of howing to play a game to get past the tutotial with the solution writen in BIG LETTERS BEHIND THE PROBLEM before they can have any amount of credability. Why should a smith not know how to use the thing they make? Making horseshoes is not the only thing you can do to live on.
guess I am up to no good...
