Play with the Devil - non-lethal

So i did this quest about some "witches" playing in the woods near Uzhitz and I tried many times to handle the quest without killing (since it's pretty easy to swim in saviour snapps early on it wasn't a problem really).
Finally when I knocked out both woodcutters without killing them the quest bugged and I was stuck wit no chance to progress. This happened several times adn I just want to know if it is indeed a bug or somehow the game doesnt count on you handeling 2 lame woodcutters with your bare (plate) hands. Anyone else tried this?

After waking up all three women were dead. Don't know if it's possible to solve via non-lethal.

As far as anyone knows this quest has no favourable outcome. Either the woodcutters or the women end up 'dying' and the blame falls squarely on you, ruining your rep with uzhitz. The only reason to do this quest is novelty value and getting the achievement. On subsequent playthroughs, you just stay away from that ♥♥♥♥.

This quest is currently bugged anyway for me. Two of the women go to the road meeting point each night, but Zlata just stays home and snoozes; no dialogue options, it's like she's just a bland cookie-cutter "villager". The two other women wait for her most of the night, she doesn't show, then they just go back home themselves, never going to the campfire.

I've tried just going to the campfire itself to see if that will trigger the cutscene. Nope.

The only reason I want to complete the quest is that I suspected it will unlock future Father Godwin quests somehow (perhaps after a period of he and everyone else in Uzhlitz being angry at me for a while).

If that's not the case, and there's apparently no other positive outcomes, then I guess I can just ignore this thing, right?

(I did actually complete the quest before, but reloaded a save trying to find a different & better outcome...which apparently isn't possible. That's when Zlata's buggy behavior started).

This is one of the worst quests in gaming history. Vavra is a new liar king, he stole crown that belonged to Todd Howard!

If I recall correctly, if you kill every single one of the people present, you don't get the reputation hit since there are no witnesses. But it has been a long time since I did that quest. I think there is also a way to do the quest without actually joining the 3 women in their witchcraft.

It doesn't open up anything new with the priest so you're not missing anything

Did anyone attempt to steal or pickpocket the ointment from the women?

I tried pick pocket got the last girl but didnt work no cream found. I talked to them before they got to the clearing which might be the way to go. When it says interrupt them I'm going to just fast time and see what happens then. Hopefully i can soberly stop the woods cutters from killing them.
