Worth trying to get back into Talmberg?

I left Talmberg by jumping off the bridge, only after I realized I could have gotten both a set of armor and a horse. Is it worth trying to get back in (I know that at least via the bridge it's possible)? Is the Talmberg armor worth it?

The armor is not worth it. It consists out of a gambeson and a waffenrock, which you also get from the bailiff in Rattay.

It is useful if you have it ~ if nothing else you can sell it if it in good condition.
Not worth spending lots of time for if you are already "escaped".
