Is Nest of Vipers a timed quest?
Most of the quests preceding Nest of Vipers is timed, so I haven't been able to explore or do side quests at all. Anybody know if Nest of Vipers is timed too? I kind of want to level up a bit and do some side quests before I get too far into the main quest.

I don't think any of the main line quests are timed beyond the horse rides and walks which are not mission critical. Nest of Vipers definitely isn't timed in any way.

Iv only had one time quest that I noticed in over 100 hours of playing the game with side quest and main quest. Iv explored everywhere and took my time and never had any problem so...yeah, do explore.

The main quests involved in finding the gang members are timed. If you take too long to find them, they're all dead. If you do the quests right away they are alive and can tell you more information, except for Lubosh, who is dead no matter what.

You can still finish the quests, but they are completed in a different manner.

Mild spoilers warning!

I know the Rattay executioner gives you one side quest with seven day time limit that requires you know how to read and have decent sneaking/lockpicking/pickpocketing skills. This is the only quests where the time limit was a bit of an issue for me.

In Sasau monastery you get a quest to treat wounded from Skalitz and at least one patient can die due to hidden time limit if you don't go find the priest who knows how to threat poisonings in time. I only failed to meet this loose time limit because I didn't know it existed.

Matthew and Fritz will give you a quest that has 5 day time limit but it shouldn't be much of an issue and the game keeps you up to date about the time.

Additionally there are the occasional side quests where you have to be somewhere at some specific time but that's usually pointed out very clearly. Many of these limits are not deadlines but simply end of waiting periods which should be easy to figure out from the context.
