Disease quest timed or not?
I have finished the quest with the attack on the bandit camp and the fight with Runt and now i am supposed to go to Merhojed to questin the prisoner. There is a disease in the village and it affects both main quest and side quest tied into it.
Right now i wasn't in the Merhojed yet, i just have the quest to go there ("Prisoner" i think). I roughly know what is happing there since i ve read it online somewhere and i wonder - Is it on time limit and do i need to do it right now otherwise the people will die and quest fail? Or can i explore, make some sidequests etc before going in there and starting this? Can someone help me with this?

Dont think so. I wandered about quite a bit after Runt and didnt fail it. Then again, I didnt actually start the disease part until yesterday, and I trucked on through it pretty quick since I didnt have much else to do.

If you havent actually been made aware yet of the plague in-game, then no I dont think its time based. If you have, I wouldnt chance it since the plague actually becomes a side quest to do and you can fail some of those if you wait too long.

the sidequest about curing the disease is called "pestilence" and i think you get the quest after you arrive to the village so do you thinks its safe to explore and do your own other things before you start the "pestilence" quest?

If you dont have Pestilence in your quest log at all, I would say its safe to do whatever. Im pretty sure I messed around plenty before ever starting the prisoner portion. I think it popped up for me after talking to the Baliff.

If it is there, I would complete it as soon as you can. Now that I think about it, its probably very likely you can fail it if you wait too long. (Minor spoilers) It possible to brew the wrong antidote for the plague, so its likely the prisoner can die. But he has letters on him that might point you in a different direction if he does die without telling you anything.

Up to you. Its not a difficult quest provided you know how to do alchemy. If not I dont really know how the quest ends.

i know its not difficult and normally i would do it right away just to be sure, but i am streaming the main quest and better sidequests and outside the streams i play for myself and explore, do minor sidequests, train etc. And right now i would love to do that. So i dont know if i can or not to not screw the quest and kill the whole village before another stream because i waited too long doing sidequests and exploring :D

Well I think it's timed as you have to wait allot of time to see if the cure helped. But I would guess you have at least 20 in game days to compleat it. Most timed quests are several days long.

Once you get the quest 'pestilence' in your quest log, you need to finish it as soon as possible. After you learn about the disease you only have a day or so to cure them before they all die. But if you haven't received the quest you have as much time as you want. AFTER you cure them you have to wait a few days. Go turn it in to Radzig and then do what every you want for a few days. [or wait a few days]
