I have a theory maybe near end game they ran out of money so they spent less time on fleshing out some missions, like they did at start.
When I got to about 80% through the main story, I had enough of the game and all the fetch quests. So I tried my hardest to only do main quests and finish the game as soon as possible.
Atleast so far. Havent got really far yet but so far I really enjoy these slow-paced quests. I have no need to go & be the hero.
I agree that the first quests were better
I loved the initial part too. Hopefully for you it keeps getting better and better. For me this is the sort of enjoyment pattern I had through the game:
0-20 hours Amazing = 10/10 game (I'm not kidding, I would have given the game 10/10 in the first few hours)
20-40 hours = Good game
40-80 hours = Decent game
80-120 hours = "meh" game
I felt the quality in some way in design went down at a certain point
what are you even talking about ? did you read my post?
no its part of the main quest
You find 'accident' sites but nothing going on sometimes, random events alway occur on the road as fast travelling but never in the world map covering those sites.
Bandits spawns in road encounters for instance, you never find bandit camps that is not a part of a quest line.
The point is there is no valid way to find out who is he when you are with the monks
What kind of quest design is that? Hope to find a random book?
You need to give the player the ability to solve the quest from the information that is in the game ,if you dont and you hope for random things, what are you actually doing as a player?
what? i dont understand your english, if you mean the abbots list in the monastary, it does not tell you who he is.
Yes, I believe there is a lot of missing things in this game too. There are also 5-6 abandoned mines with nothing in them and most are dead ends. If it was me, I would make these abandoned mines hideouts for bandits and create a whole quest arc for that.
Everything you said is valid point too. I wish the accidents had more content to them.
Ok its true i remember that bit of dialog now , but how can you find a weapon except coming randomly upon it?
but how can you know from the information in the game that a treasure gives you a weapon
