Possible to hunt deer?

You gotta level up your bow skils just like in real life! In real life you also unlock traits and......oh wait. In real life you just hit where you need to and the wildlife is severly hurt.......lesson learned never by a fantasy rpg.

Level your hunting skill and take the Forester perk... you can eventually get pretty darn close to them before they run off...

Maybe wear the attire of a hunter and try sneaking.
And if that fails, there's always horseback hunting

The doe are mainly sticking to the areas where forests meet plains.
I found like 8 of them (not in the same group) while wondering on the northern border of Thalmberg forest

Better arrows? There's no reason to ruin good arrows on deer.
Hunting and better hunting arrows are enough

Probably you mean the grew ones?
They never stand still like the stags do sometimes.
Hard to find (not always at forest boundary, later you will need some for a quest) and even with 0 noise and high skill in stealth hard to get.

Yeah those are roe does and they hang around in fields not forests. But as soon as you spook them, they run to the forests. This is why it's better to come at them from the forests so they run to the plains and you have a much easier time following them

What? I've never had any trouble hunting deer. They are implemented so badly, you can just run after them and stab them with a sword.

In forests. Look at the map, it's possible you may have found deer hunting spots without realizing it.
