[Spoilers] First Aid II, III
I'm just curious, but they say that they add dialogue options. Had anyone actually seen a new healing dialogue option?

I've seen it in Bethesda games where you can heal and such if you have high enough restoration or a potion, etc. But I've not noticed it at all in this game yet.

Yes, there are a few instances where having the skill provides you with dialogue options. In Aquarius you can fix a guy's arm and then when you first get to the monastery you can heal a few people on your own if your skill is high enough.

I've heard about a monastery where you have to save a bunch of people before the hidden timer runs out and they all die. Is this the same one?

Or is it like the monastery/clinic outside the castle being built where you investigate a fallen low quality rock?

There was a guy I couldn't save during the search for the bandits in the main quest. I only had First Aid I at the time and had to put him out of his misery, but the dialogue indicates he could have been helped.

This was one of the main times I was concerned if the perk was bugged because I already had First Aid II or III but I never had any option to help him so I also had to put him out of his misery.

I don't get the option to save Agnes husband as well. But let me test whether first aid is tied to alchemy which is only level 1. My herbalism is 16 and since i also have first aid III, I don't know why I can't heal her husband

I don't know if the perk is useless or just bugged or its scripted that he dies.

I'd imagine all you need is FA II or III and bandages. And any sane player always runs around with bandages.

Hmm I'm 30 hours in and haven't used them yet LOL. I just keep spares in case I get wrecked somehow. I regret learning riposte though. Some opponents get one shotted when I execute a perfect block. Must have been a hard pommel to die from the impact..

Yes I got the possibility to heal someones broken leggs by my skill just as an example.

there is only a few cases to use it in conversation...(and there are other ways to solve said quests too)...its not really that useful tbh...

but again...its not like there are a ton of useful perks in that tree so you just might as well take it early...

Oh I wish they'd be able to add more events, way farers, with dialogue to be able to use this perk and get some charisma and some other xp out of it. And it'd give us more reason to keep bandages and work on alchemy.

it would make more sence to learn more advanced medical aid from proper teachers like reading, and not unlock it by yourself. Suddenly lvl 12 i can set bones!

I'd imagine the idea of it is that Henry has had to fix himself up a lot. But I like the idea of learning advanced techniques from reading books.

These are good ideas perhaps we can start a recommendations thread? I for one like to see more large scale battles or more challenging combat as you level. E.g. maybe 5 bandits trying to rob you when you're higher level. Currently, it makes no sense that when I trigger a bandit event during fast travel. Despite him having lower armor than me he is robbing me by himself..that makes no sense

I've made a few suggestion threads like for more animations and jobs, etc. But they just get ignored.

And I agree, it's stupid to be ambushed by 1 or 2 bandits that have no armor at all and die in 1 hit - especially when they're unarmored bandits picking a fight with a fully armored "knight" with a 1500g sword.

Need to be more, better, bigger random events.
