Night Raid - taking out the guards
So at the start of the quest, when you climb to the wall and you are told to "take care" of the 2 quards there are on the left, how are you supposed to do this? I can't knock them out because the quard always somehow blocks/counters my try and the alarm gets ringed and ♥♥♥♥ goes down. Any tips lol

Crouch, go behind them and press F (I think) to knock them out

wait for them to move to positions that befit your purpose, or shoot an arrow to distract them or - there are a few things you can do here.

Ah they are detecting you or your strength is not high enough.

Hm, my strenght is 12 (-1 points i think) so what is the strenght level required to knock them out then? because i'm pretty sure they are not detecting me, or if they are they don't give a damn.

What's your stealth level at? If it's lower than 10 i believe they have a good chance to block. I think at around 13-15 is pretty much 100% to knock out.

I think that mission is made to fail.

There's also a perk to increase the strength of your stealth attacks.

Make sure your sound is low too.

My strenght is 18(+1) and I can only knock one of them out

its pretty easy.
wait a a few seconds after the dialoque is finished (you can move meanwhile) than crouch without all of your armor (you should have noises 0 in your stats) and take out the guard at the stairs first and keep moving slowly at the wall then go back and directly from behind you kill the other one watching over the walls.
You should have a dagger and stealth level around 12 atleast could be useful.
you need the assassination skill for this.
Then u can go down the stairs and there will be one guard walking around, you can either hide at the dark corners to get to the building where u started the game when you were fleeing from skarlitz or try to kill him (reload if u fail).
but there will be only a villager in the building.
For the quest it doesnt matter and u can actually save time when u just fail right at the beginning and escape from the wall.
But if u want to do it anyway do it like I suggested.
sorry for my english btw.

Use a dagger - you're not supposed to hug them...

Also I found taking the guard facing the portcullis first then the guard looking out over the battlements worked better for me.

Yep.

But in case you are going for no kills achievement, use potions to buff your strength and skills

You can upstairs and go around the top stealth killing all the guards. (Also robbing the armory of a lot of weapons to sell to the miller) then go down and take out the guard in the middle (no one will be above to see)

I always assumed it was wither an issue with strength, stealth or a combo of the two. I've never had any problems taking them out.
