Found the Golden Egg

I havn't found any of the colored eggs for the eater egg hunter but I found the golden egg right off the back lol. Go to the western most church in Rattay and search the birds nest just outside the church door. It is worth 999 Grochen. Happy Easter hunting!

I had no problems to find the Nest at the church, but for me, there was only 1 Groschen and nothing else.

There are no eggs at all in my game :(. Spent last 2 hours looking for them in every possible settlement with chickens - no eggs.

That's weird. Have you looked at the chicken coops? Even if you don't get easter eggs from them (I have found plenty of various colors), you should still be able to get some regular eggs from them.

I think it depends on factors like speech and reputation with the trader. At 10 speech and 74 rep with Kondrad in Rattay, I was offered 400+ for it.
