Hey. I'm not being able to finish this quest since I must "shoot with Vatzek again sometime" but the only dialogue he gives is to play his shooting game.

Or maybe I must improve my bow skill even further before I can do that?

It's repeatable activity, not a quest. Like archery contest in Rattay or fist fighting.

Well he mention that you should brake his record, but he never say what it is. So maybe you can compleat it if you get a perfect score when you bet 50.

I've recently finished the Quest and beaten his record which is 18 or higher, and i still get the same dialog about coming back to shoot later.

If you break his record you get some archery exp as he "teaches" you. After that, you can still bet and shoot.

I shot 16 at 50 bet and won and he said "You're the best EVARRR" and offered to teach me his skills after he fell in a ditch drunken . I got a bow skill increase (1 level up) from him "teaching" me his skill after the quest said "shoot with vizek again"......I think all it does is loop as "shoot with him again" so you can come back and win 150Gros again and again.

THEN 5 bets later I shot 19 of 20 and he still said "you're not up to my standard"........Yeah dude, 19 arrows in the logs from various distances, I win. Gimme my Groschen!

chumps are repeatable activity to train your Henry and yourself in archery. that's the purpose and that's the reason why he says what he says. come back to train some more. if you want to.

Well, that is... reprehensible attitude.
It definitely wouldn't overburden them to still read bug reports from time to time and fix minor things here and there.
A few hours a week is all it would take.

that's what you, I or any other lay person imagines. reality seldom confirms that. it could be that they tried, ran cost vs benefit calcs, and figured it's not worth it.
what's so wrong about that anyway? it works as it should, why care about what this particular npc says? i don't get this nitpicking..

I've been modding different games since 2013. Different programming languages, front end, back end, textures, models, scening.
I might not be a professional developer but I'm definitely not a "lay person".
Unless KCD is some terribly optimized monster where fixing minor dialogue issues requires hours of work, it really is not that time-consuming. And in this case it's just the coding matter since the guy does have "omg you're soo good" voice lines but they only work the first time.

And as a perfectionist, I do enjoy bugless games. Or mods. And not just playing them, but fixing bugs too for that matter. So "Ah, ♥♥♥♥ this, it's fine, minor issues can be ignored" is exactly the attitude I don't get especially if it can be fixed real quick.
It can be infuriating experience when you need to track & fix some elusive bugs, but minor stuff? Nah, that's a pleasure.

u never in your life meet someone who was like that NPC?

seriously, it can be just default line for him.. and there wasnt reason to change it
i really wish this level of issues in any game.. last time someone mentioned Bannerlord.. seriously, i will be happy AF, when all what i can criticize on Bannerlord will be only one sentence for one NPC what im not satisfied with.

but i get it, u dont like this one thing..

heck if u wana call it bug, then did u realize at beginning is here still day? in Skalitz is day for years.. and that man who load up cart with hay.. he do it forever.. i didnt saw him get pause and rest for while..

now this my question isnt related to this your issue.. im just curious.. can i see your work? u mentioned some mods.. and to be honest i never saw any "error free" app / software.. i have "some" experience with that like software analyst and test designer.. and when someone claim how is he perfectionist and coder, i just wanna see it.
