HD texture and HD sound pack not...... working

when i go to the DLC for each, I click download but it loads the game without downloading anything. when i go to advanced graphic settings it says i need the dlc installed.... well i clicked DOWNLOAD but it didnt do anything. what gives?

Verify the integrity of the files in the game's properties (right click KC:D, properties, local files).

How much graphics card RAM do you have? You need at least 6GB.

First you select the HD DLC in the DLC section. If game starts let it load. Then quit game. See that DLC has been added but not yet installed. Then Restart Steam. Wait for the DLC to get downloaded (take a coffee). The restart the game and select HD textures and switch it to on.

I have downloaded sound pacs and HD texture pack. And All is working fine in game. (I do have a gtx1080TI running game at arround 60fps everything on ultra in 2560x1440 without issues)

PS: I bought the game today so have a 1.4 fresh install, don't know if that matters but just fyi)

Click the "free" button to actually add the thing to your library if the store page opens your game.

I have 8GB gtx 1080. And Hd textures... dlc is in the dlc tab of the game. But don't work.

I have the same setup 1080ti all ultra and 1440 with constant 60fps.
I restarted and https://i.imgur.com/1uqF1zd.jpg it looks better but still gives me want to vomit. Do they look better on your end?

It works, but............................................................... I can't see any difference, i checked wood, doors, horse, animals, dirt... Still dull. GTX 1070
