Is it still possible to kill that first cuman?

Yeah, I know it's supposed to be an exploit, but I still wanna try it. But fail miserably so far. I do everything exactly as on those videos: keep my cursor out of the cuman and try to hit him with slashes. Sometimes I even succeed, but in most cases this damned slo-mo is activated, and he owns me.

No its not possible on 1.4.3 patch. He is faster and have more health.

There's a video on youtube of a guy backing off and re-engaging 1 hit at a time. This might have been patched out.

You rush to the slope/bush directly to the first Cuman's left side, where he runs up to and stops. You time your jump from the top behind the bush, crouch and knock him out.

It's possible, I tried to do it with the cheta mod enabled, so I could heal myself. And he is killable... but it's going to be one hell of a fight to do it properly.

meh... couldn't get it to work - so i just ran for it... made it to safety the first try this time XD (my first time playing, it took me two days to make it to safety!)

@DW... i'd rather not use mods. god- modes always spoil it for me. i like it to be easy, by training my butt off... but not too easy!

No one is claiming that he can't be killed. What people wonder about is if you can kill him without cheating. Your test failed from the very start when you need cheats to heal yourself in order to kill him. If you can't kill him without cheating you can't kill him.

I totally agree! it's always a good idea to be clear about what kind of mod you use, as it is super easy to break the balance of the game. I am mearly stateing that it is indeed possible to kill him. Quite punishing and hard but possible :)

I mean if you wan't to farm enough skills then it's still possible to get strength and fistfighting to a decent stat before fighting him, which means you can run into him stagger him and beat him unconsious. I have done that in the past. But it's still a fist fight against a sword wielder and if you take to long more cuman's joins the fight.

The question is actually about, if he is killable or not. (Is it still possible to kill that first cuman?) and I answered it is. The method I did it was to clarrify that it is hard as heck.

i am definitely late by over a year but i was able to finish off all of them i got to the horse first and just ran away a bit waited thill they got a bit closer then ran through aiming for the archers first

it takes a while but you can take them down 1 at a time and i barely got hit abet after a few tries so he CAN die just haven't been able to do it at the start of the escape only after i got a horse

When you have practiced the fighting a fair bit, then go and try fighting the cuman again on foot. It's possible if you use the rock to your advantage but it's almost impossible. Should be an achivement if you ask me :)

You should definitely get the bush mod (bushes can be very annoying) and maybe the unlimited save mod without it you wll have to replay quite a few times, run into three bandits on your way somewhere and that is it.

I would agree, at least in the beginning. As soon as you get a hang of the game, you will learn how to save easily by making potions.
