Hare Hunt & Sheep in Wolf's Clothing
Hare Hunt & Sheep in Wolf's Clothing.

Is it possible to succeed both quests at the same time? And without killing Talmberg's guards?

These two quests are intimately intertwined. In itself, it's a good thing, but I find that the outcome of one or the other is poorly thought out and not well developed.

I learned all that was possible to learn about this story of poachers and Hanekin Hare (Jack the Hare in French, I wonder why).

I have the choice between going to see Robard, or meeting Hanekin Hare, thanks to Margaret, who explains everything to me, or going to the woods, to the clearing where Hanekin Hare and his poacher friends meet.

But apparently, there is no alternative choice allowing both to put an end to the actions of poachers (so report to Robard or Divish, and/or Nicholas he hunter) AND confuse (unmask) Nicholas so that he admits to have engineer / scheme the "eviction" of Hanekin Hare in the past... it's a shame I think !

I don't like failed quests !

I tried the option "see Robard to stop poachers", but I'm not happy with the outcome. I have to kill Hanekin the Hare, and it does not please !

This is how it should have happened :

In the same way that the meeting with Hanekin is possible thanks to Margaret, when I fight Hanekin, before the fight or when he is too tired to continue the fight, he should have surrendered and begged me to listen to him. That I would have done. He would then have told me the same story he tells at the place indicated by Margaret, and then I would have done the quest "get the woman". At the end of this quest, I could have had the choice to deliver Hanekin to Robard or let him go, but leaving me his ring to "prove" that I killed him.

And so the quest "Hare Hunt" could have ended. And besides, I could have become the hunter master and at the same time have accomplished the quest !

Bad job, Warhorse, for this quest !

Although Hanekin is a poacher, he does not deserve his fate (to be killed), he was fooled by Nicholas, and it is Nicholas who should have been blamed or killed (by Hanekin, for example) !

Finally, even if I have a failed quest, I managed to wash (restore) the honor of a man who was wrongly accused, and I am a master hunter.

So, it's still a very good ending ! :)
