Can't download DLCS

How is it that the game launches when i click ''download'' on the dlc page? I cannot seem to be able to grab the dlcs...

1-Click "Download", game will open;
2-After the loading screens, close the game;
3-On Steam Client go to Library>Games;
4-Right click on KC:D, select "View Downloadable Content";
5-On the small new window, uncheck the square box and check it again;
6-Steam will automagically download this DLC;

Solved it: apparently, when i clicked on ''download'' the game started, but the dlcs i was trying to download were sent into the download queue. After exiting the game, i checked it, and in facts they were there.....Downloaded them now
