Nicodemus weed quest

Ive tried to complete the weeds quest for Nicodemus, I removed all the weeds from the journal and avoided the herbs that were not to be touched..
But he tells me Ive done a terrible job and fails me..

Ive reloaded a few times and made sure I didnt miss any weeds but it always fails..

Im not sure what to do ?

it worked for me. are you sure you did not miss anyone?

If your herbalism level is too low, you might miss some herbs most likely. Also, you can gather outside of "garden" too for better result.

My herbalism level is 10, why would that effect the quest ?

because of how herbalism skill works, higher skill level - bigger gathering radius. So at lvl 20 you just need to pick 3 times and all weeds will be collected.

The first time that I did the quest, I only cleared the garden and quest failed. I reloaded and cleared all of the weeds from the garden and the surrounding area. That time it passed.

I reloaded the save something like 6 times but failed each time and gave up..
Did the quest , if completed, give other quests ?
Have i lost out on other quests by failing ?

Try weeding outside the bed near the wall also.....he sometimes likes to count those as part of his "patch".

Yes, when completed he gives you a quest to combile a new herbarium. The reward for that quest is more herbalism skill.

Best part of this is starting that quest by picking every herb in his garden.

I had this problem... then I realized that first time I visited Monastery I took some plants from the garden. Few quests later I got Weed quest and kept failing it... The important plants dont grow back in this case, so it counted as I took them, even if it happened long ago...

So maybe you have the same problem? If you took any plant from that place before

Did the same thing. Didn't know about the quest before ransacking the place.
