Master Thief Perk Problem?
Seems to me recently my Master Thief perk does'nt always work. What am I not getting here??
Sometimes I still have to pick very easy and easy locks, and it will say a very hard lock is too difficult when sometimes i can pick very hard locks no problem. My Lock Picking level is 12.

"very hard" locks can range from 10 to 15, depending on your lockpicking skill (from my experience). At 15+ you can basically open anything you find.

If you took luck of the drunk perk you should be able to get into any lock in the game with 12 lockpicking. Just have a beer before going for the very hard locks. I did notice that sometimes I still had to pick easy locks when I got to high lockpicking but I think there is some varience in the locks. Like how a very hard door is easier to open than a very hard inventory chest from a big Rattay vendor.

Yea, luck of the drunk allows you to open very hard locks at level 8. With master thief perk and very high lockpicking skill(and/or luck of the drunk) you can open up to hard chests and (I think) doors. It'll usually vary as to what you can open and what you can't in between. Doors seem to be harder to activate master thief compared to chests(e.g. you can use master thief on an easy chest, but not on an easy door). Also keep in mind that perks which increase levels(like drinking habit) are applied when you want to train. So if you just need a couple bow levels to get master bow training, you can just drink some wine and now you can get the training.
