I hate that when that happens. I was hunting for those Roe deer and they were on a slope I shot two from my horse and they slid all the way down a hill into nothingness. I got off my horse and tried to follow only somehow falling to my death....
And of course I had to re-load from a save that was 45 minutes old.............
Weird stuff. I'd stop abusing it if it wasn't the most efficient way to progress.
Rabbits are dumb as rocks, too, but they're almost impossible to hit. Spending a dozen arrows shooting a circle around them is obnoxious.
Walk up to them, 2 meters. They're easier to hit than the archery duel you have with Hans.
But I do agree with adding 'friction' to bodies.. Theres a lot of wildlands with slops on forrests.. and a lot of overgrowth that you can lose a body in.. One of my first times ever seeing plate (and winning against it) I lost the body to the forrest.. felt bad.
I've never had it with enemies sliding more than 20 metres though. It would definitely suck to lose good gear like that, but you'll find better :)
