Does Pribyslavitz really exist?
In the game the village of Pribyslavitz is completely destroyed, because in 1390 Havel Medek of Valdek torched it, conquered Talmberg and imprisoned Divish. But I would like to know if this village really existed in real life, somebody of you does know if it did?

It really is an abandoned village in the woods. The current ruins are from centuries after the game setting though.

There’s a town in Czech Republic called Horní Kruty, which happens to be on a wooded hill with a church that looks fairly similar to the Pribyslavitz one. Moreover, it is in the same direction and about the same distance from the Sasau monestary in real life.

The website for the town says it was built in 1228, so it existed well before the game’s setting... and also the town (among others) were donated by a man named Priboslav (an interesting naming coincidence).

It is also just north of a smaller village (without a stone church, could be Divish’s village, it’s the right size) named Prestavlky.

Im not claiming that’s the village they used, but it could’ve easily been the (or part of the) inspiration for Pribyslavitz, if it is really just a fictional town

As the two actual villages by that name are not in the right location (both are south east of the monastery, when it should be north east) and only one has a church and it looks nothing like the one you rebuild in the gams.

GUYS IT EXISTS! I ALSO HAVE BEEN THERE!
I went this summer to KCD: Tour and I visited a lot of KCD villages, Skalitz, Pribyslavitz (It's called "Bývalá obec Přibyslavice"), Sasau, Talmberk (also the castle! I went inside!) and Rattay! I couldn't see the other villages, but I plane to returnn there for a week.
Go search "francys55555" on twitter to see my photos!

I think the church "Kostel sv. Martina" near town Kozojedy is the one they used as a template of church in Pribyslavitz. It's up north from the Skalice but more to the west (in the direction of Praga) so it's not in the same location, but in the middle of the forest and well it has oryginal wooden tower and simmilar brick wall around.

Maybe it's similar and the devs took inspiration from that, but the true village is more near Skaliltz, on the west. You can't find it on maps because it does no longer exist, but on mapy.cz an abandoned village is marked (Bývalá obec Přibyslavice), which Vávra confirmed me on Twitter it is the true Pribyslavitz.

Если ввести название деревни в google maps, то можно наблюдать три пустыря в лесу, примерно на том месте, где в игре была Pribyslavitz. Забавно.

How did you find this ?
When I googled the name I got a reference to this game...
The game uses German names for the villages instead of the Czech ones. That can make finding the names harder.
