I was playing kcd on xbox. I rented a room for the night, woke up and now i can get through the door any advice

If going to sleep again/reloading doesn't fix it...you may be screwed.

Try getting somebody's attention because NPC's can definitely open that door for you. Can you shoot an arrow through the window? or flash a weapon at somebody? Surely you can't fast travel from inside. I would try everything.
