Henry the Master Huntsman
So I just became the master huntsman, I've got 2 questions....

1. They say my duty is to keep poachers away, I found an ''interesting site'' where a poacher is butchering some animals, and there is no option to pursade him to leave...So I killed him. Is that considered a crime?

2. I went to hunt just south east of my hunting house, and the meat I got are still marked as ''stolen''? Why?

Thx

1. Killing poachers is not a crime.
2. Hunted meat is always marked as stolen, but I have never had Talmberg guards demand a search. You can also cook the meat to remove the stolen marker, but I'm not sure if it affects the quests.

Killing poachers is a crime. But poachers at "interesting sites" are so far away from civilization that nobody will hear them scream. It will not lower your reputation or have any negative consequences...unless you start a fight and they run away to town.

Basically, make sure you finish the job every time.

In addition, any crime that is not witnessed would not affect my reputation?

For 2, Apparently you can tell the people who search you in the woods for poached meat that you are the master hunter so they wont search you, although ive not had any accost me yet. As for why its stolen, i would guess because it still doesnt belong to you, it belongs to the lord and you're just tasked with bringing it to the castle.

Not 100% sure. Only 95%.

Every time I play the game, I play a Henry that is totally evil, but ALSO is very liked by everyone with positive reputation in all the towns.

I murder, steal, frame, snipe people from a distance and sneak away, stealth knock-out people from behind just for a little money. I watch reputation on a regular basis, and if it drops a bit I reload a save.

There have been instances where I didn't think anyone saw me, but reputation dropped or I incurred a fine. But its extremely rare now, and I attribute dropped reputation to my own mistakes...thinking nobody saw me but maybe somebody did.

OK - I've got Henry the Master Hunstman quest too on PC and I'm charged with getting venison for a banquet. Getting the venison wasn't a problem - but I don't seem able to 'deliver' the venison to the Chamberlain (NPC is marked as 'Scribe"). I can't get a 'Talk" selection to pop up - just a 'Pickpocket' choice...and he also irritatingly yawns something to himself like "What should I do today?".

So - Question 1: is the Scribe character the Chamberlain - he's the same NPC that gave me the game hunting quest. Question 2: How do I give the game to the Chamberlain/Scribe as marked on the Quest Map if the NPC won't interact? And I suppose, Question 3: Is this a bug or am I missing something or should I just take the Master Huntsman accolade and the use of the Master Huntsman lodge and forget about supplying Sir Divish and Tamberg Castle with meat? Help gratefully received! :-)

Could it be the victim noticing your crime...I've heard in the current state of the game that counts too?

I`m just doing that one now. There seems to be bug. If you look at the quest you see who you deliver the game is marked A. Now if you look at the map it is marked B.

Now this is the funny part. When I got to where the sribe sits and you look at your little hud at the top of the screen it flashes between A and B if the scribe walks around. I was finally able to talk to
him while he is standing and I gave him the game.

The best part was when I left and went outside the game crashed, so now I have to do this all again.

God bless Henry.

I had that same crash...it happened 3 times before I decided to use another savior schnapps right after the delivery. Ended up fast travelling away after because I always seemed to crash at the same place near the exit of town after delivery.

Yeah this is probably right. For stealth knockouts...sometimes they say something just as I go for the grab.
