I like Al'buraq whatever the white horse is but I'm probably going to be upping to Jenda since it has all better base stats than any horse tbh.

I picked Sleipnir as my first tier 5 horse because I liked his combination of decent speed and carry capacity - stamina matters less to me because the bar fills so fast - but after a while capacity matters less and ultimately almost not at all. Jenda would be the one I'd pick if I had discovered her first.

I stopped doing any serious looting once my gold ended up going over 20K and I couldn't find any armour/weapons that were better than what I had (i.e. roughly as soon as I completed the bandit bounties). Now I look at the inventory of the dead briefly but rarely take anything, so past a certain point in the game, speed & stamina end up being the best traits.

I'm going to seriously consider trading in ol Sleipner for Trojan. I can barely carry the armor I ware. Do you know if I have to take all my horse stuff off manually or does it switch to the next horse?

It's been a while since I swapped my horse. I seem to remember being paranoid and unloading the old horse before replacing him. I'm not sure what happens if you don't.

Shadowmere is my favourite horse in the DLC because he's the best horse in any game.

I buy Hatatitla first, because I like black horses and don't have access to Shadowmere until mid-game. Hatatitla is pretty good for a Tier 2 horse.

Of course I've tried many horses. I went for Jenda in my first game and he is an awesome horse (Shadowmere is still better), and several other Tier 5 horses.

I was riding Jenda over to Uhzitz a lot in one game because I planned to buy Hatatitla in my next playthrough--so I found myself going to visit and think about my adventures with him. LOL

I'm so glad the DLC provides the most amazing black horse of all.

I went for Jenda in my first playthrough, but I have stuck with Pebbles on my HC playthrough.
