Dont want to lose my honour!
Ok everyone knows by now to do the quests for the miller in Rattay if you wamt a vendor for lockpicks. However no one ever mentions that maybe we want to do a playthrough wjere Henry doesnt do illegal or immoral things? I mean hellooooo....

Seriously, it even says in dialogue "i wont risk my honour" , and regardless if there is any penalty or not, why make us do a quest we wouldnt normally do and break rpg immersion?

So...anyone know of good ways to buy lockpicks without doing the millers quest?

If your "Honorable" isn't lockpicking beneath you anyway...? so you shouldn't need vendors for lockpicks :D besides...general traders usually have 4-6 lockpicks on hand.

Honorable = not buying your tools for crime from the black market.

Well then why do you need lockpicks if you want to be all honorable?

Haha seriously though not all lock picking will be a crime. Like the two bandits you kill for ginger quest. They have a chest at their camp. Not dishonorable to loot that

Lots more uses for picking locks than crime

I don't remember any historical documents mentioning lockpicking as one of the knightly disciplines.
But who knows? Modern research says the early Britons were all black

It's true. Britons were a black race until the White cisgendered Normans invaded and produced the Bayeux propaganda showing Harold and his soldiers as white.

Dont forget the article on the "typical" Roman family showing a black man as well. Rewriting history is so in fashion these days. Scary.

African slaves were commonplace in Rome, though slaves were in the majority light skinned.

in 500 years researches will say that Trump was black and Obama was white.
If their tweets are the only surviving historical documents (man I just threw up in my mouth typing that) then the assumption would be correct

True, most slaves were simply other conqured European people. No one is saying there were no black skinned people in the Roman Empire, just that your typical Roman solider was not one.

The merchant in Talmberg sells them to you, you can get them by several merchants, some more shady then others... It's not like you have to do the early miller missions.

Heck you can get the first 4 (4 is enough for most of the game if you know how to do the lockpicking) from Skalitz.

Also do not forget North Africa was composed of lighter skin people (comapred to subsaharan skinned people) at that time as well, see Carthaginians.
