Nest of Vipers?
I snuck around the camp without being seen and came in through the North. There's a conveniently place chest with an easy lock that has Cuman armor and clothes so I put them on. Now I have more than enough poison in my inventory to complete the optional stuff but every time I step into the camp I get attacked. I've even tried to wait until night but I still get attacked no matter what. I even took all my weapons off so I don't have anything that's not Cuman. What do I need to do to poison the food and burn the arrows without every guard in the place instantly attcking me for no apparent reason?

EDIT
Okay now it's bordering on the ridiculous: I dropped some poison into the pot nearest the North entrance and I literally saw a guard who couldn't possibly see me come out from behind a building and run half way across the camp to confront me. WTF?

EDIT 2
Here's how I managed to complete this quest. It was a little cheesey but it worked:

*I walked around the camp to the North end and picked the easy locked chest inside a small building.

* I put on all the Cuman armor from the chest which included a full face helmet. I also removed all of my weapons because there's no Cuman weapons in that particular chest.

* I wandered through the camp and found exactly 1 pot that was easily poisoned. It's in a depression near the central gate of the Cuman part of the camp. I poisoned that pot undetected and made my way to the bandit camp.

* when I got to the badit part of the camp there was a cut scene near the castle/chrurch.

* Since the 2 pots and 2 arrow barrels had bandits crawling all over the place I decided to make my way back to the spot where I snuck in and staged my horse right outside.

* I then went back to the badit camp and poisoned both pots and set fire to both barrels of arrows. I mnaged to sprint to the Cuman part of the camp without being hit or slowing down. I managed to set fire to both arrow barrels and poisoned the last pot right next to the entrance where I came in.

* I ran out of the camp and jumped on my hourse and rode away. A single guard caught up to me and messed me up pretty good because I rode directly North and hit an invisible wall at the edge of the world. When I figured out what happened I turned East and rode away.

Mission accomplished with all optional objectives.

I killed everyone who was guarding the camp and still came back to discover there were people there. I got pissed at the guys discovering me, running up on me from *no where*, so I just killed every single one of them.

Come to find out they all resurrected during the siege, lol. Oh well.

true but hey it was a kickstarter game and in the end its a game. compared to how much money and resources used on other games this is pretty decent imo despite the price and its incomploete story line lol.

i did 60 hours to finish this game in my pace and enjoyment. expensive but i had fun. so these weird things that shouldn't happen, happens.

i got so annoyed after killing runt i took alot of time to go back where i fought him to see his body still there. so then i took more time to drag his body and toss him into the ditch.

I had this same bug, I tried every combination of Cumand clothes, removed all others etc and it wouldn't work and I was instantly attacked too. Had this for two days before saying '♥♥♥♥ it' and just walking in and bullying their entire family. Seems like it's just a glitch that we cannot remedy without starting a new game.

The quest before that also glitched on me. I intimidated those fools at the windmill and followed them to the camp. I still had to talk to that fool timmy though, because the quest wouln't progress properly.

I noticed if you expose Timmy to Morcock and subsequently go to the camp saying Morcock sent you without having talked to Radzig before going to the camp, you can poison the pots without any hostile reaction, but you will not be able to set the arrows ablaze until after having talked to Radzig.

This quest is just ridiculous. It is sheer impossible to do all the optional stuff, so it is better to just do the necessary things.

For me I snuck up by the bandit camp and got spotted... I then proceeded to fight the 2-3 guards that came running up at me. Soon I had 30-40 bandits and Cuman (most of which were in their underwear because they had been sleeping) and I was able to kill all of the unarmored guys instantly. I had a long drawn out battle for about 20-30 minutes before some additional Cuman guys (fully armored) got drawn into it and I had to run away.

When I came back for round two I decided to ambush a Cuman guard and take all of his equipment and disguised myself for infiltration into the Cuman side of the camp. I went in and poisoned a pot, but I was spotted or something because shortly afterwards a guard came and attacked me. When I killed him the other Cuman started attacking me. I ended up killing the entire camp and once EVERY. SINGLE. SOUL. was destroyed I then poisoned all of the food and burned all of the arrows and scouted all of the locations. Optional objectives completed: ezmoad. Oh and I got a 10k worth of weapons and armor to sell. Nice.

I went to poison a pot of stew and the guy who was sleeping woke up and attacked me. How in the hell did he know what I'm doing? He's asleep.

Yeah theres a bug with sleeping people. You have to knock them out first and then no one will witness you. This goes for murdering people and stealing stuff or picking locks too.

I have just done this quest. The first time I stole the armour from the chest as you did and Henry had no dialogue options except "Where is Moorcock" and "****". I know what happens if you follow him at this point so re-loaded and waited until nightfall. In full stealth armour and noise level of zero. I poisoned the pot in the depression then snuck back and poisoned the other cuman pot then went bast a sleeping guard and set fire to the first arrows, sneaking quickly I set fire to the second set and then I was spotted. I still managed to burn the third set then ran. When I reported to Radzig I went through all the dialogue and thought I had completed it. A second later I got a message saying I had failed the sabotage quest! I dont understand this, any clues?

Honestly, I think that whole section of the game is bugged. I tried sneaking in countless times, got annoyed to many times to count pulled out CE which warhorse said to use for money since the consoel command doesn't work, gave Henry STUPID high stats and still failed sneaking in. I think the AI in that sector is just...shattered. I really think stealth doesn't work as it should.

Something cool they could've added was an actual class mechanic..."HEY YOU! YES! I see you like using bows, here's archer." or "I see you like wearing heavy..heavyyy HEAVYYY crap, Here's knight." etc would've given a little more intrigue to the game....especially for the rogue types. I prefer rangers, but I like my maces now...so...whatever smashing face is still cool.

You didn't burn the bandit arrows and stuff, just the cumans.

I guess that could be it except I saw a YouTuber who only poisoned one cuman pot and didn't burn any arrows. He got the update when he spoke to Radzig! However, no one spotted him leaving the camp whereas they chased me even though they didn't see me poison the pots!
Who knows, it seems random!

It's probably because that whoel aspect isn't fine tuned, which sucks because it takes out a decent portion of the game.

I don't know... this quest is best when you realize the mass murder opportunity that awaits! :) Always kill every last one of them. It's fun and great for morale.

One thing i love about the battle that follows is.
That you dont have access to your horse, so you cant store loot.
Oh and there are no places for storage nether.

And here I was thinking I could get rich quick XD
