Money of Merchants
Got the money system of the merchants a patch? I'm selling a lot of stuff to my friend peschek and the blacksmith in Rattay and they don't get more base money :(

I have/had that problem. Turns out if I shut down the game and load it back up they suddenly are rich.

Less pointless early game. Eventually it is though, however if the merchants do not gain money back at all, you would not have 30K either.

Edit: guess I immortalized that deleted post XD

Nah, it's fine as it is. Their money does increase over time as you do more business with them, and your reputation with them goes up. No need for mods.

For example, the trader at the stall in Rattay starts out at around 2k. After about 60 hrs of playtime in vanilla, he's now up to 10k

Yea, that mod is pretty much irrelevant.
Just continue selling them everything and even if they don't have enough money to pay accept the "transaction".

Reputation matters. So consistently tip them on most transactions...save that Final Offer perk for the occasional big haul. Also, Charisma makes a difference. If you're headed up the hill to visit all the Rattay merchants, it's probably worthwhile to stop by the bath house for their special services' +Charisma buff. Barring that, at least make sure you wash up in a trough.

So, the merchant's available money isn't necessarily what that merchant has in total...but what that merchant is willing to spend for YOU. It also can dramatically affect the prices. Don't go on your Rattay trading rounds with dirty/broken gear. I've seen about 20-25 point reputation swings just from whether various +Cha perks/buffs were activated, and between dirty/clean/laundered gear.

It takes time, for example my tailor has over 23k or more. Don't robbing your main merchants you want to increase, because I think it will or can reset their money. When you loot their chest with money. But I am not sure.
