Question about starting area
can you stash loot somewhere in the starting area and come back to get it later?

Thoroughly tested everything there survives... well besides food which spoils so eat it or sell it first...

Chest is safe but you character isn't so don't be overburdened or use unlimited weight mod when ending the prologue since you lose some of the stuff which is over the weight limit (your armor and weapons and important stuff seems to survive).

no you can't find any place to stash you loot at starting area.
You can keep loot on yourself.

Yep... I ended up with about 1500+ pounds of loot stolen from town until I got bored... even managed to stealth kill couple of well armed bandits in saw mill during Homecoming quest and get their stuff... only wished I took out more then two cumans during escape... :steammocking:

Now I got so much loot to sell... I wish I could buy horse with cart!
If your henry is a badass stealing and murdering psychopath i have a little trick for you how to get your money afap :)

---------------------------------------------------
  • Sell all your stuff to one vendor even if he don't have enough money
  • wait 48h until the vendor sold your stuff as well
  • go to his chest and steal "your" money :)
---------------------------------------------------

Way more easy than sell your stuff to several vendors because they don't have enough money :) and it also increases reputation as long they don't see you lockpicking his chest ^^

Not true, your home chest works perfectly and if you take all the loot on yourself besides becoming overburdened you lose part of it when prologue ends.

Only difference is the loot stays in the chest and doesn't automatically transfer to chest in miller house like stuff you are carrying and you have to return to pick it up manually.

There should really be "bankrupt merchant" status for a at lest a week if you rob them or big investigation quest and you need to dump some of the stolen stuff on an innocent person to get the heat off you.... and watch innocent person getting hagned for your crimes. :steamsad:

Can confirm, my Bad Henry crammed a bunch of Skelitz guards' equipment in it and it was still all there upon return.

Oddly enough, some of the items lost their "stolen" flag, too.
