Looks interesting but.. is this religious propaganda?

I watched the trailed but immediately became suspicious that this is some sort of religious propaganda as they make reference to a character from Christain fairytales.

Is this some religious nonsense or what's the deal here?

If you really hate religion that much then it might be a turn-off for you. Most of the people you talk to greet you with "God be with you Henry" and such, and a lot of topic of conversation is stuff about "Good Christians" and "sinning" and stuff. The game is aiming to be realistic after all, and religion was top dog back in those days

On the flip side though, there's a part where you can get ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with a priest and his concubine, and other ways you can have fun thumbing your nose at the church. Maybe take a look at some gameplay videos

I mean it's just a depiction of religion not promotion of it, it sometimes even show the bad sides of region in some quest. I'm not religous and I enjoyed it, my main problem with this game are the bugs that I'm waiting for patch to fix before I keep playing.

I agree it does not promote religion. It is funny how the only people even close to what a christian should be, are considered heratics. I will leave that for you to find which quest that is =) then you will see why I said that.

no its not...in fact it has tons of criticism against the church...many quests (main and side) are related to that...

christianity is depicted as a huge part of every day life as it was but your own character need not be...there are also a number of npc's who dont dont give a ♥♥♥♥ about church...

there are both good and evil characters clergy or lay...i was a bit concerned with the titlle (kingdom come deliverance) before release...but you dont need to worry about that in the slightest...the discussion on the religion aspect is quite historically accurate (bohemia was going to be plagued by religious wars soon and it is somewhat hinted in game)...and there is nothing about religious propaganda...
