Does it cover your face? Get a helmet with full face coverage.

Maybe take off all non-cumans clothing? That worked for me.

Ornamented Cuman shishak is the helment, when I take my sword the visor closes
are you attacked while poisoning the food, or literally right whne you walk in? For me i was approached and spoken to while in full cuman armour

Just by walking in, I haven't even had a chance to look around to even find the food or arrows. I was wearing the full set from the chest, walking, not doing anything suspicious and they just rush me as soon as I get anywhere near any of them

Also can't let them see you tamper with stuff either

It worked for me when I went late at night like around 12 AM in game time, and I had not only a helmet from the Cuman's but a set of their armor as well. So not only was I wearing a Cuman helmet I was also wearing the standard armor that they wear nothing fancy just the standard Cuman armor. I think its not enough to just wear the helm you must have a full set of gear that looks Cuman (does not include pants, leg armor, and boots as I had my sandard ones on while doing the infiltration). Also make sure you have high enough stats to pass the speech checks the guard asks you otherwise you will have a bad time. The sabatoge is kinda a cherry on top thing as I have heard it doesn't do much in the long run.

I killed a captain (judging by his helmet) that was guarding the bridge.
Looted all from him and wore all. I think the disguise you find doesn't contain most armor elements.
Anyway the trick is to walk, not run and to immediately stop when you are accosted by a cuman (when he speaks to you). If you're moving away from him while he's coming to speak to you, he will attack.
Also DO NOT stealth kill anyone. I took out a patrolling guard and even tho nobody saw me do it, I was instantly attacked afterwards (maybe I had blood on me who the ♥♥♥♥ knows).

One thing you can do is kill the whole camp. It sounds ridiculous but it's not that hard if you have a horse and a bow. I stealth killed a few on the edge and when things got bad I just rode away, came back, and shot anyone who was still walking back to the camp after giving up on following me. It takes a while, but the AI isn't that aggressive when it comes to bow combat so if you want to narrow down the numbers that's one way. I just chipped away til they were all dead. Took a good hour or two but the loot and the rep you get from doing all the side objectives made it worth it. If you do end up doing that, still tell raadzig what you saw when you first got there because when you return with your allies everyone respawns.
