So have it where you can set up a little camp but it's not secure. Wild animals (bears and wolves) might wander in and attack you, or bandits, or witches tripping on LSD that want to sacrifice your genitals to Satan.
Not if bedrolls doest save your game. I would love to camp in the wood because it's a pain to travel to nearest inns while exploring, when Henry becomes tired or just when it's too damn dark to see anything without a torch.
I remember an old thread about bedrolls and the argument from some other players was that in those times, sleeping alone in woods was asking to get robbed/killed/raped. So, in that line of tought, would be nice if not only they add bedrolls, but also add some rng calculated risk of doing that and maybe some perks to give you some kind of awarness when sleeping. you know, make sleeping in a bedroll works like fast traveling, with encounters and stuff.
Would be nice waking up because some bandits made noise while trying to rob your shoes.
This game could be to most immersive single player survival experience.
With the risk of being stealed or attacked while sleeping in forest if you do sleep for a full night with a camp fire
There are camps all over the place, marked and unmarked. Would be nice to be able to save from sleeping at those camps.
Guess it depends on how you look at it. I have distinct memories of the early days of the internet when it was frowned upon to create a new topic when one already existed.
On topic:
There is even a codex entry on camping that seems to indicate it would make a good mechanic in the game given its reputation for 'realism'.
