Lol you think witcher music is bad? Like it didn't get many awards for the sound and music alone.
I'm not saying everyone must like the music. I'm just saying for me, I don't like it. With the witcher music I feel like the wind is blowing through my hair and I'm on horseback. I can imagine it through the music alone. The music in KDC doesn't make me feel this. It's more jovial and medieval party sound like with a flute and tambarene.
It's period accurate and immersive. It's also been the most single praised aspect of the game along with the setting (world design). I'm not likely to kick back and listen to it outside of the game. But you cheapen the whole experience by dropping the OST in this title for other music.
I had no idea it was period accurate. Even so it's not for me. I think i opt more for grandiose music. I just checked the OST for KDC and I found the one that gives me headache. "Rattay Feast" seems to play all the time when I'm out riding in the hills. Actually makes my head spin listening to it.
Who stole it?
My bad, you must own the game on a different account then.
Omg that's the one 😕
I just dont understand why that game ascend to godhood but others get neglected.
It would SUCK for this game though! lol
End of the day there's nothing wrong being inspired by great works of art. Oblivion when it released did something new when it released by having the biggest open world environment. So other games were inspired by this and created even bigger worlds. Nothing wrong with discussing this.
Also MGS and F2F are completely different styles of music. Imagine playing Metal Rock in a medieval/fantasy world like Witcher. It just doesn't suit.
The reason why I picked this song from witcher is because the song reminds me of riding a horse amongst huge mountains and hills and somewhere in the distant maybe the sound of the Ocean ebbing on the shore. Thats what i feel from this song and I thought it would fit the riding moments of ODD. When you're out in the fields exploring.
I just wished there was music that profoundly affected me like that whilst playing the game. It's not a bad thing. I can still enjoy the game. I'm just opening an avenue of discussion about the music.
