(unless there is some way to make it not do that every time I draw my weapon)
Pretts sure the stats are lower, otherwise I would not have replaced it.
The wiki also lists lower stats for your choice.
Helmet: Warhorse Helmet - Slightly better than the Arching Bascinet. The Warhorse stuff is a preorder bonus set thingy I guess
Coif: Dark Padded Coif for best armor, Dyed Quited Coif for some charisma
Head Chainmail: Noble's Mail Coif for armor, Warhorse Coif for charisma
Outer Garment: Brocade Outer Jacket wins all categories
Body Plate: Bright Milanese Brigandine for armor, Warhorse Brigandine for Charisma
Body Chainmail: Noble Hauberk for stats, Warhorse Hauberk for Charisma
Body Garment: Decorated Arming Doublet
Gloves: The wiki doesn't have the Kuttenberg Gauntlets for some reason but they're the best
Arm Armor: Magdeburg Plate Pauldrons, the Ausberg ones have a tiny bit more charisma
Leg Chainmail: Mail Chausses
Leg Plate: The Ausburg Plate Chausses give significantly more Charisma for only a tiny bit less defense than the Magdeburg ones
Boots: Wiki doesn't say
the warhorse is only for those that pre purchased, so i don't have them.
lol didnt even noticed. Just went in the game, guess i mistakenly sold it... lol
by the way - you get aditional peices of the magdeburg armor - liek the gloves through another quest line and a different helmet as well. i am pretty sure the entire set is acheivable - you just need to have done enough of the optional stuff to get it
I know the gloves exist but the helmet i'm yet to see, unfortunately i can't progress since main quest is bugged :(
Does someone have the stats for the Kuttenberg Gauntlets? I'm pretty sure the Noble Gauntlets you get from the chest NE of Neuhof has higher stats.
I have a Nurembergian cuirass from a treasure map as best chest = 25 stab, 25 slash, 10 blunt
Quartered combat jacket (captain drop) is best outer jacket = 4 stab, 7 slash, 12 blunt
Kuttenberg gloves are usually 11 armor, but are best looking IMHO. Theres a gold-trimmed noble pair thats 12/12/5.
Boots: Usually cant wear if wearing platemail legs, but if using lamellar then the noble boots are 4/4/1
This video has everything for armor and weapons.
Now you just need the best horse and tack. Got you covered there, too:

So, there you go. I've got everything in those guides, except for the Dark padded Coif. Working on it, though. If you're looking for some free loot, check out the playlist below:

Check the best HIDDEN TREASURE locations and all five ANCIENT TREASURE locations. Pre-order DLC shouldn't be required to get this stuff, though. Enjoy.
