Stealing Queen of Sheba's sword?

So I found all the pieces and the guy forged this glass vase of a sword. I don't really need it (who would be, it would perish to dust with that durability!), but I'd still like to have something for my trouble of doing this dull errand quest... And I think I've paid enough with my all time.
In other words, I want that sword and I'm not gonna pay for it a tiny bent penny!

I've tried pickpoketing the guy and even stabbed this bothersome focker with a dagger, but aparently vendors don't wear all their stock on them (duh) and therefore the sword is not in his inventory.

I wonder if there is a way of *khem* aquiring the sword without paying blasphempus 2k groshen? 'Tis a matter of honour!

P.S. I didn't manage to find an article about just that, everybody's looking for pieces, poor buggers

I've got the exact same problem! Have you (or anybody else, for that matter) found any way to just *get* it without paying for it?

Pay the money. Steal it back. Or not. It's only 2,000 groschen and that is nothing in the game economy.

Merchants usually have a very hard locked chest around, with all their the stuff they sell. If you find it, either in his house or around his forge, you should find the sword inside.

I think it would be in the shed next to the swordsmith shop; the one with all the chests with "very hard" locks and are full of weapons.

It's not exactly a brilliant sword given the amount of effort you have to go through to get it. The durability makes it pretty much pointless, so I just keep it locked away in my chest with other mementos.
