Whats your favourite helmet used in medieval times?

My favourite is the crusader helmet, I know its a little mainstream, but after seeing it and its interpretations in so many games I've grown accustomed to it. What are your favs?

Do you mean the sugarloaf helm or the one with the flat top?

For my favourites, i'd probably go with the sallet, followed by the hounskull and sugarloaf.

What exactly is a crusader helmet? For the first three crusades most troops be they foot soldiers or knights would just use the nasal helm. Only in the later crusades (less famous ones) did they use the great helm and other.

Sallet and kettel helmet are the coolest ones.

anglo-burgundian style sallet, best example is the so-called "Coventry sallet"

He probbably means the "Bucket" helm.

Do you mean the sugarloaf helm or the one with the flat top?

I mean the flat top one, you know the one that the templars had in assassins creed? and theres one in mount and blade aswell.

NOTE: You don't have to choose from ones in the game, anything goes!

The "bucket helmet" AKA the great helm. Wasn't used for any of the "famous" crusades.
By the 3rd crusade the "early great helm" would be used by some but not all knights.
