Or if you did none of the siege preparations at Talmberg.
sure but I mean even all the quests that lead there. Seems like the story doesn't ever branch off no matter of what choices I take.
Guess I find that out on my second time around :) (after the game is finished, polished, modded) lol
Yeah unless every single choice alters the entire course of the game and leds to one of 5000 alternate endings, it's a wash.
I mean for example if you say "♥♥♥♥ hans" and then you still ride with hans into the sunset but his attitude towards you is different. Just little things like that. Like instead of you two becoming friends he still treads you like a lesser person.
Not even your Henry can change history lad.
Unless you found a DeLorean in one of the caves that I didnt.
I consistently treated Hans like ♥♥♥♥ and he hated me. I'm being his bro this run and he's been pretty amicable. I'm satisfied with that level of choice. I still hate Hans though.
not what I mean at all, I understand that the main story should stay the same since its a storybased/historical accurad game. Just who your friends with, how people talk to you.
(important npcs, not the scripted peasant lines based on your rep in that area)
Choices matter in quite alot of side quests but I haven't really noticed it mattering much in most of the main quests
maybe I was too nice to him. I actually wish I could've murdered him xD
There are multiple choices involved in almost any quest so you can replay them differently usually at least 3 ways. The plot still continues, as it must until we have Star Trek level super computers that autogenerate new plot lines, and that's fine.
The choices matter as much as they do in a Telltale game, and they pretty much lead the way in choose your own adventure story telling in games.
