NPC inventory restock ?

if i pickpocket random npc and guards and take all their belongings from inventory, will they restock within some time ?

Nope. Take their clothes out of their dresser when they are sleeping and they are naked forver. At least in my game they never got them back.

I don't think they restock (steal inventory), same with the lockpicking chests. If you unlock all of them, they don't "relock' again, they just stay open. At least on my game

Not totally sure about pickpocket thou since i've done just a few.

its silly, i think devs should make that npc restock at least their clothes in a few days or a week.

There's a chest at the upper floor of the glade inn where every npc stores their clothes for the night. If you rob that at night, they'll all run around in undergarments for the rest of the game... That's where I stopped stealing clothes. I did not want everybody to be running around half-naked...

they relock again but you wont find any new stuff inside those chests.

hhhmm has anyone tried to put BETTER CLOTHES in that chests , so that all run around like knights :-)

just killed 5 robber knights , sold their equipment for 10 000 but already had around 90000 ... so want to dress some town new , could be fun, if you are already bored :-)

What I have seen is, that the NPCS pick things up, when you drop them in front of them, .... wait haven't tried clothes, only money and food , maybe they would dress new , that way ?

Stuff seem to reapear in some chests. Been stealing loads from The guard tower in The main city.

can you do a test and tell me if it works. Go back to that chest you stole and store back in stolen clothes or different clothes and see if he will dress back up

Hours and hours, long into the game later, the fella still stands there in his underwear, without a care in the world lmao.

In my game they restock after about 48h.

yeah but if devs want to make it quite realistic , NPC should notice that they have nothing to wear and go to store buy clothers or simply spawn in a day or two.
