Kingdom Come: The Pros and Cons...
For the sake of data collection and fair feedback. Lets have a dedicated thread where we discuss what we like and dont like about the game. There is no wrong answers, so lets everyone reframe from heckling eachother. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

HOWEVER ... Due to the nature of the game anyone with less then 10 hours of game play should be reading opinions, not writting opinions...

With that said. With 55 hours of gameplay Here is my thoughts.

Pros:

Big beautiful world to explore. Highly detailed land. The story is great. The acting (unlike skyrim) is very well done. Very believable, and likeable characters, including the actor who plays the protagonist. At first you arnt sure about Henry but you grow to love him. Melee combat is a rush and it will keep you at the edge of your seat. Game world feels alive, and lived in. Horses are fun to ride and you can even upgrade to better faster horses and give them better equipment and even armor. Charisma and reputation and the way you look ACTUALLY matters in this game, for the first time in RPG History your attire and the way you live your life effects the way people treat you...

Cons: Sometimes the AI is really really dumb. Walking into walls. Getting stuck walking into rocks. Sneaking is unrealistically easy because they are that thick... Random events on the road are limited.. Very limited. To the point of being really repetitive. There is only like 8 kinds of random events. But the biggest Con. The one that almost made me stop playing... The archery in this game BLOWS There is no defending it. It sucks. I've given up on bows... Useless weapon. It's so bad that even from 8 feet away you miss your targets half the time. And the Draw on the bow is so, so, so slow... It's just horrible. If you like your archery. You will not enjoy this game because its literally that pathetic. You will never become a Robinhood in this game..

Conclusion: Once the bugs are fixed and they add a few more random events and/or DLC and when there is a decent Archery mod to fix what I hate most... This game will be one of my favorite games I've ever played and well worth the buy.

My only con is that I wished the map was much larger. With a real city but not a game breaker at all still lots to do.

What I love: The Realism. Yes, I know that is rather vague, but it really encompasses pretty much everything I love about this game. The grapics, the beautiful scenery, the cities, the towns, the characters, the way the characters interact with each other, it all just feels real, like you could almost imagine living there. Here is a small example of what I am talking about: In the beginning of the game, I was in Rattay going around the ratthaus stealing whatever I could lay my hands on. In one room, I encountered a scribe sleeping on a bed. In order to make sure he did not hear me, I knocked him out and continued looting. My reputation dropped slightly, but now problem, I just gave the merchants in town a good deal a few times, and my reputation was back at 100. Fast forward a few weeks, and I need to talk to that scribe again. Imagine my surprise when he refuses to talk to me and instead runs away. That's when it hit me. He still remebered me. He still remebered me because I'd snuck into his quarters, knocked him out, and stole him blind. He still remebered me even thought some traders in the marketplace got a few more groschen than normal when selling their wares. He still remebered me and he is going to keep remembering what I did to him until I am arrested and thrown in jail to serve my time like I deserve. That's the kind of realism that almost no RPG I've played even comes close to achieving.

What I dislike: The bugs. Speaks for itself.

- Great sense of humor throughout the writing
- Beautifully designed UI/map aesthetic
- Codex is fascinating and great companion to main gameplay

CONS:
- Everything else

PROS
1. Voice Acting/Theatrics
2. Story/Lore
3. Terrain/Graphics
4. Interface/Realism

CONS
1. Eternal Load screen a few times and MY COMPUTER EXCEEDS the maximum recommended specs. Lost a bunch of progress a few times because the load screen stuck for 30 mins and had to restart game. (possibly poor modulizing?)
2. Realism is fun for a while, it needs some polishing to be more enjoyable. For example, I got in a fight, was bleeding, used bandages, but needed sleep to heal so screen red constantly, game won't let me sleep because "You have no time to lose," Merchant has only 10 gold to give so can't get money for my items worth 300 gold... Just, have a doctor or take off certain limitations for gods sake. Realism needs to be counterable. Also, playing through a FIVE HOUR INTRO (unless I'm that bad) and starting from nothing again? That annoyed the hell out of me at first. NEEDS POLISHING.
3. Cutscenes for talking and story, are top notch quality, like an A-movie, so props, but sometimes they should give the user more interaction and have less choreographed story. And throwing me straight into a fight after a load screen, where I have 1 second to raise my guard, is very frustrating.

OVERALL
They spent a long time on the PROS, then sold it AS A FINISHED PRODUCT... when its BASICALLY EARLY ACCESS. SHOULDN'T COST $60 YET! I'm playing another early access right now, only charged users $12, and it is way more advanced, with no bugs after three days of patches, and now they are ADDING to the game.
