Monitor signal loss

Randomly when playing both both my monitors lose connection to my pc, ( game running on one monitor and the other is idling). Can someone explain why this happens, and or how to fix it?
Only happens when playing this game, and the points it happens are random

GPU Problems.. maybe getting to hot?

Probably the same reason that the game changes my computer's gamma when using the in-game slider (and then thoughtlessly leaves it at that setting.) Reloading without recalibrating my monitor just amplifies the effect.

Obviously there was a disconnect between the dev team and the folks at Cryengine, who sadly (embarassingly) list all the missing features of this game on their site.
