Can I preserve cooked meat?
I've hunted a boar and get a lot of meat. I've realized I shouldn't sell it directly to butchers as they consider it stolen (i asume as I was hunting at some lord's lands) and give me less money, so I have cooked it. I've sold most of the cooked meat to the village butcher and innkeeper, but I still have 43 pieces of cooked meat.

I was wondering if I can do something to preserve it a little longer, can I salt the meat or anything like that? :steamsalty: I imagine there is nothing like that implemented, right? :)

I did find salt, mostly on Cumans and/or bandits. No idea if you can use it for your food though, wouldnt be suprised if it works.

To be fair, you can also download the mod that gives all merchants 10k gold. That way you won't have that problem anymore. I'm up to 90k in gold now because i tend to sell everything, wouldn't be able to do that without the merchant mod.

gold =/= groschen w/e

It's 1 potion per item of food, not per stack as I expected. It's not very useful as a result.

You smoke or cook. You don't do both. Unless your just heating up smoked food. I wonder if you smoke stolen mean if the tag leaves. Most likely.

I have just looted a preserver from an accident! :steamsalty:

Not quite useful, but I'm genuinely satisfied. I didn't expect such a mechanic to be even implemented in the game. So, I'm going to eat some meat and preserve some for tomorrow!

How do you smoke? I tried "dealing" with a fire and then cooking but it does the same thing if the fire is lit or unlit (at least on the 1 inside "grill" I tried).
