Bandit keeps dying in merhojed plague quest.

I have done the whole quest about 3 times, and the bandit kept dying. So this time, I didn't wait at all, I just sat right buy him (and watched youtube until something happened). He just dies, every time. Is this supposed to happen? is it just part of the story?

Did you give him the cure? Did you give him the right cure? Never had a problem with this.

If you do it right he shouldn't die. What options did you take curing the plague?

he doesnt die if you give him the Merjohed(sp) potion you have to create at the monastery

lol well ya, there's that too =) but if you've created the Merjohed(sp) potion then there is no guesswork is there? The game tells you when you've made it properly

I made the "correct one". Only I have made some bad choices resulting in the doctor thinking it was the plague. Ergo wrong potion.

You can create more than one type of the potion. Dont want to add spoilers but the answers is not the obvious one. You c an google walkthroughs of that quest.

Just fyi dont let the quest complete until you run and complete Questions and answers. Or your game may end up bugged.

Run and talk to Ra at the camp (this will complete questions and asnwers)
wait a day then go back and talk to Mal

Yeah i completeed questions and answers. Basically: I didn't make any potion, if you say "i don't know how to make it" to Nicodemus, then he makes it and you just have to wait a bit. I then went down to Merhojed, he gave it to me, I gave it to loads of other people in Merhojed, and then I had to speak to tha bailiff, called Melechar or something. He says something like "Okay, now you've given me the cure, go and talk to the prisoner". And THEN, I go to the prisoner, give him Nicodemus' cure, and Henry says "hmmm... let's wait a while to see what happens". and then maybe 10 minutes later, Senior Prisoner dies unexpectedly.

Because you let Nicodemus make the cure. There's a chance it won't work on a person to person basis if you do that. It's not game over though, so just carry on.

You can't wait for it. To save everyone you have to help him looking up the symptoms and make the cure yourself
