Is there any way i can transfer my save from a non-steam version of the game to a steam purchased version?

i luckily never had to get that far, once i actually started earning money i found it easier to get a game legit than to pirate it

Yeah its scary to get a call from the Feds, pretty much wiped everything I had and shredded a few thousand cd's LOL, Now I buy retail or from Steam, no warez for me.

Wow eh? I've not heard of anything like that in Canada. Closest would be ISP's sending cease and desists, but I am unaware of anyone being punished for pirating here.

in the US, isp letters are the most common form of cease and desist things for pirating, tho state and national organizations can step in at certain points if they feel
