Training Chest - Where is it?

At the start of the game Peschek gives you a chest you can practice lockpicking on. I'm later in the game where I have to steal the Necronomicon from the monastery but my lockpicking level is too low.

Where can I find the training lock and does it level up my skill as I use it?

You train lockpick any lock and level your skill.

All locks can train your lockpick skill. More you lockpick, better you become.
You don't need lockpicking skill in monastery to open the armoire containing the book. A key to open it exists.

the chest is behide the mill and it only re-locked each time u start trainning from him.

I stole the key from the chest with a "hard" lock in one of the rooms before the book room.

Its near the water wheel around back on the corner of a building (river side). There is a locked door next to it.

It will relock after you unlock it, if you look away from the crate and then turn back. So you can practice over and over on the same box. It will do that if your level is beginner range 1-5, then it doesnt relock anymore.
