Armor getting too dirty too quickly?
I just washed my armor in the bathouse, and after hunting boar for about 7 minutes I look at myself in my inventory and I'm filthy again. It just doesn't make any sense.

I agree you become dirty to quickly. I think it might just be tied to how much you moved. But it should depend on weather conditions, if you are walking/riding, fighting etc.

Realistically a half day long trip to the forest or a walk through the city doesn't (necessarily) lead to dirty clothes. I know for sure I don't wash my clothes 3 times a day in RL, however I sometimes do in KCD.

Get the perk that makes bathing free. That solved it for me.

Bathing is only a weird game mechanic that you need when you are in town dealing with traders... not quite sure why the OP wants to bath and then go hunting.

Well that's when I use it before I interact with decent folk. Otherwise I am out in the mud and the blood lol

Well it doesn't really solve the issue you still need to bathe 3 times a day if you wish to stay clean. The perk just saves you money not the way to the bathing houses. So yeah OP is right you become dirty too fast.

If you are not near a bathing spot. You don't need to bath for any reason...

No one said you would. Still doesn't change the fact that you get dirty unrealisticly fast.

If I take a bath then walk up to the town my armour is already visually dirty. I wouldn't mind having to wash every day if I get to at least look good for the day. Of course if I fall in mud I expect to get dirty

Anoraki has provided a nice fix. "Stay Clean Longer, Get Dirty Gradually" mod does exactly what it says. Pretty much can go across the map now before you REALLY need a bath again.

Works fine with v 1.7.2 as well.
