Played for 4 hours, does it get better?
Does it normally start this slow?

Pros:

So far, I enjoy the cutscenes. Most of the story based characters.
Combat.

Cons:
Ran into a few bugs that didn't allow me to progress further. Luckily, I have the save mod.
Environment looks nice, but lacks life....not sure how to explain. Bird sounds, but no birds to be seen. No animals (outside scripted events), no randomness. So far i'm on a linear path with the story, every time I stray to find something interesting I'm running into boring NPCs, mostly empty buildings. No luck finding interesting lore or interactive items. People praise the realism, but the NPCs didn't even react to hard rain storming down on them.

My computer is slightly outdated, but there a lot of loading screens for dialogue. Even if they last around 5 seconds, it gets annoying. Plenty of RPG games have a smoother transition for dialogue or interactions. Maybe its just me?

Still going to push through it, hopefully it gets better. I hate to say that i'm a little bored.

It gets much better. I think you might still be in the tutorial for the game. The game opens up a lot more at around 15 hours in. And you'll notice a lot of forested areas will be empty - but you always find rabbits, and deer in the actual forests (they'll generally be forest circles on the map).

And you'll get more hooked in the main story and run into a dozen or so side quests.

As for loading screens - in the past 2 updates - I've noticed more and more loading screens. In the past patches I've seen loading screens from some of the most random things.

and then the game endz. and no more. What's the replayability for this -2, 3, or 4times? and then no more:Morale::luger::diplomacy:

Nah, it's slow like the crawl of a paraplegic snail. Get used to it, because it won't change a lot, endless trips to make fetch quests.

Tutorial takes forever. It opens up after you save Ser Dbag and get a horse really.

That said, yea, bugs galore!

I.... was VERY tempted to kill him right off the bat tbh... Never got better..

What if you...... don't save him?

It sadly gets worse, the further you get in the game the less polish/testing the quests have had, the ideas and stories are good and interesting, but you can very easily screw up the execution.

Sounds like you are still in the tuorial...

It is a game where you do errands for other people. So it's never much of a challenge but it does get a bit better. I have played for about 70 hours, while watching the olympics and football. I couldn't imagine wanting to replay the game, maybe in a year's time if/when the graphics are improved. I have a 1080ti and play on high ultra settings, but the game looks low-res. And it isn't open-world as there is very little to do unless you do the quests.

Combat is dumb. I use a bow like a handgun and wearing plate armor I am like a tank. I just walk up to enemies and shoot them full of arrows. Realistic it isn't. I would play as a swordsman but I'm not into becoming keyboard master.

The most frustrating part is the inventory and character stats user interface. It's clumsy and as the game progresses it becomes a big time-waster. The perks are mostly meaningless.

I would stick with it, just don't expect too much. It never rises to great heights.

This game is like a good wine, it is better with time :)
You will see the birds flying when you approach and groups of animals in the forest.
Yesterday I was hunting, I lost all my arrows, I was hunting a wild pig on my horse with my sword, it took me near 15/20 minutes to kill one, lol

Yeah, it gets better after around 30 hours when you've finally learned to lockpick and stop getting killed by the weakest enemies.

You are still in the tutorial. The open world will be available after the first main event. Also, the world changes as the main story progresses, 'til the final state.
