Solved: Image distortion... I'm stumped
I know, I know. You want me to post screenshots. Well, I tried. Apparently all the screenshots came out completely normal. *HOWEVER* When I'm playing the game, there's an odd... distortion around light, character's faces in certain lights, etc. I've tinkered with the Nvidia control panel settings for my monitor, but nothing seems to be working. I've also noticed the game seems to "hijack" (for lack of a better word) my monitor settings as well, and I'm not sure how I can fix that.

thanks in advance, guys.

The fix was so simple, I felt like an idiot. All I had to do was go into NVIDIA control panel, go to change resolution, and scroll down to the bottom. click "Use NVIDIA color settings" and change the Output dynamic range to "limited" No more image distortion, and I'm able to enjoy the game in a pleasing manner. Hopefully this helps someone else having a similar issue!

maybe you could upload a screen shot to give people a better idea of what is going on.

Unfortunately games tend to ignore color settings set in the nvidia control panel. The only exception tends to be the vibrance option.

You can sometimes get around it by using borderless windowed mode.

As for the other issues you're having, not so sure there.

You might be able to get a screenshot also by going into windowed mode, then when it happens, using snipping tool to take a screen grab yourself.
Granted, this only works on windows since snipping tool is a built in windows tool. I'd imagine other tools exist though. Maybe a simple print-screen would work.

I think I got it this time. I just noticed it causes the same problem on my second monitor as well while the game is running.
